Needs You!

Are you interested in joining the Some of Us are Brave Team as an intern or volunteer?  We are looking for dedicated, self-starters to join us in furthering the voices of Black women on the radio airwaves.  Interested parties must have an interest in  promoting the perspectives of Black women in the areas of social activism, politics, health, environmental justice, etc.  We are looking for folks who would be interested in: research, writing, answering calls during radio shows, promotion, and creating email blasts.  No experience is required, though a background in journalism and website and computer skills are a plus!  Training will be provided.  If you are interested, drop us an email at someofusarebrave@gmail.com.

About Some of Us are Brave The mission of Some of Us are Brave Radio is to provide an empowering space for women of Afrikan descent to speak our truth and present our perspectives to the world.  We work to be a resource for the communities from which we come, and to make a contribution to the global movement for racial, economic, political and social justice.
